THIS IS DARK LORD SAMIDARE SPEAKING! I HUNGER FOR POWERFUL OPPONENTS, AND AS EVERYONE KNOWS, THE MOST POWERFUL or at least awesomest OPPONENTS OF ALL ARE . . . GIANT ROBOTS! I WILL FIGHT ALL GIANT ROBOTS! IF YOU PILOT A ROBOT OR ANYTHING ELSE COOL AND MECHANICAL, I HAVE TWO WORDS FOR YOU:

BRING IT.

Or, y'know, if you're some other kinda powerful fighter, that's cool too, I guess. BUT ESPECIALLY THE ROBOTS!

[Tonight: the trees and buildings are covered in glittering fairy lights and there's a clear sky that affords a gorgeous view of the the moon and stars. It is, in general, a very nice night to be on a holiday date or a totally-platonic-outing...or something in between.

So, I have Megatron and have yet to do anything really villainous with him. Partially this was because Megatron occupies a very strange space in Camp-he's very large, very tough and he has a nuclear weapon as his sidearm. He can't go around casually fighting people, because they simply aren't on his scale. Megatron fighting regular people or even superhumans doesn't work very well because of this-there are only so many ways to stomp, blast or swat at the puny fleshlings.

And then the Mods send the Mechs in. This changes things. We now have a much larger group of characters capable of bringing the fight to Megatron, and him responding in kind. He actually sees the mechs as a credible threat as opposed to dismissing them out of hand. Which means that I can finally run an event with him. Of course, being a villain means I'm going to have to almost by nature step on some people's toes and cause pain for characters. So this is very much just for consideration.

A GIANT EFFIN' CHRISTMAS TREE. those of you who have been here in years past might recognize it; while it never looks exactly the same, it's big and grandly decorated enough to be that tree. this is a good 20 feet of rock-hard pine, baby, sparkling Edward-style with tinsel and big silver and blue balls--ha ha, geddit.

[near the mess hall, a booth has appeared! there's a jingle playing from it that goes: "Everyday's great at your Junes." it keeps playing every five minutes, and every ten minutes, there's an announcement about Christmas sales.

manning the booth are two teenage boys, in aprons, and while they look a little cold, they're determined.

oh, oh, another announcement is coming! "Come on down to the mess hall today, and stop by the Junes booth. We have holiday sales and your gifts will definitely be here before Christmas! Been looking for a great holiday gift? This is your one stop to get everything before it's too late."

there is a little computer set up so they can make all the orders]

(( ooc: Souji and Yousuke will be salesmen and trying to sell stuff! mostly, this is an all-purpose, other means to get gifts place, that's only going to go on for this post. it's a bit of an experiment. all gifts will be delivered by Christmas Eve. if this works out, I'll consider doing it again ... next Christmas!
